Wyoming Vacation

Once again I am slacking on blogging!! At the first of August, we went on a little family vacation with Joes family, to Afton Wyoming. I know it doesn't sound to exciting but we usually go every year for the big Afton fair!! We had a great time, and stayed in this nice big cabin!! Getting out in the country is so relaxing. Of course we went to the fair, rode rides, watched rodeos, and made fun of some carnies. Let me tell you they are true carnies up there!! We had a family reunion there since Joes moms family all live there!! We also went to Jackson Hole for the day, shopped around and ate!! I love going to Jackson Hole, next year I want to go and ride the river. It looks like so much fun!! I have never done that!! Then I ended the vacation with a horrible flu. Luckily it started the day we were leaving. We had a great time!!!

We promised the kids we would play in the water, but it was like 60 degrees that day!! They still wanted to get out the water slide, so Joe surprised us all and took off down the slippin slide!! It was dang cold!!

Here is Gavin just before they sunk the canoe!! They were in the canoe for literally 2 min. and the canoe tips over. Gavin got dunked under the cold river twice. I was on the other side so I didn't see it, but all I heard was Gavin screaming. Thank goodness Joe was in the canoe with him to grab him out of the water. I felt so bad, he was so excited to go canoeing and then gets dumped!! My poor little man!!
