The Christmas Season

I love this time of year. The Christmas season is the whole reason I love Christmas. All the parties, the lights, the giving and the beautiful decorations. It has been so fun with Gavin this year, he is finally old enough to understand Christmas and Santa. He is so funny, all he wants santa to bring him is a fish!!
(25 cents, I think I can handle that).
We have done so many fun activities this season. Last night we went to Temple square to look at the lights. I realized Gavin has never been downtown at Christmas time. I was excited for him to see all the lights, the manger scene, and the statue of Christ. He loved starring at everything, and when it was time to go he kept yelling, "I want to go back"!!
I think I am getting more emotional in my old age, because I had tears in my eyes pretty much the whole time walking around temple square and talking to Gavin about Christ, the temple, and Baby Jesus. I even cryed through Mr. Kruegers Christmas!! We had a great evening with just our little family!!

So cute Jill~ Isn't it funny how you tend to be a little more emotional and realize what is really important now? What a sweet post, looks like you guys had a great time :)

I like your tree! It sounds like you had a great time down on temple square! I tend to get more emotional over everything too! And at just the little things too! It's weird! I guess it is cause we are getting older. I am so excited to come home for christmas!

We haven't been to temple square yet. It makes me sad. It's such a wonderful way to round out the season. I am a huge baby as well. Brady always giggles at me a little, but I just can't help myself.

I Love Christmas
